Walkable Studio in Downtown Bar Harbor [Sea Smoke]

Scandinavian modern design - everything was updated and clean.Location in Bar Harbor was excellent - close walk to everything Quick Efficient communication with rental agencyGreat HVAC/lighting, Great water pressure. Ample hooks for belongings along stairwell- a real plus for all your hiking gear etc. Roku TV was a plus, lots of channels preloaded. 2 critiques:1. The mattress is on a wood platform, not slats nor springs; this in combination with a very firm mattress created a very uncomfortable bed- if you prefer a very firm sleep then you can disregard this information, otherwise would recommend a memory foam topper etc to help mitigate. 2. While in photos it appears there is parking in front of the entrance to the building, that is for the unit in front of it. fortunately the agency provides car registration for on street residential car parking for your car; guests should be aware that parking can still get quite limited depending on the time of day during the busy tourist season.

This property was exactly as advertised. Located right in Bar Harbor with all restaurants, shopping, and the Island Explorer within walking distance. One recommendation we would have for the property would be to have at least four sets of bath towels so that if two people were staying there, it would not be necessary to do laundry every day in order to have clean bath towels. Otherwise, the property met our needs perfectly!

Excellent location and price. Right in Bar Harbor with easy access to Acadia. A lot of space and full kitchen. My dogs and I enjoyed the stay.

The property is exactly as described. Very easy and walkable location to restaurants and shops. It was spacious enough for myself, my husband and my dog. It was the perfect little getaway spot and had anything we would need for our 4 day visit. Host is very easy to communicate with!
